Security Automatic Light
The automatic lighting systems have changed the face of industry and they continue to improve each year. In the past, somebody going into a room would turn the lights on or off as they went about their journey. These days, the systems are so sophisticated that infra red detectors can detect where the person is, and can switch on lights in that area only. For example in a large warehouse, lighting could be enabled for the particular area being used at the time, rather than for the warehouse as a whole. Lighting can then follow the person as they progress with their journey, and this sort of system can be used inside and outside with no loss of effect.

In the past, the person might have to try and switch off lights as items were carried into the store. Now automated doors and lights can be interlinked so that the person can have light for the full length of their journey, without having to provide any of their own input. The person can be detected for the entire duration of the journey, allowing for complete vision whilst being totally unrestricted in terms of physical movement. Walk in fridges for example are often fitted with very similar systems.

This system has a slight downfall, as it is very easy to turn the lighting system on and quite easy to forget to switch it off again. This can be solved by a simple time delay which will turn off the lights after a certain amount of time, therefore removing the worry of wasted energy and a large bill at the end of the month.

Many office blocks are lit all night because somebody works late or performs a night shift. However with automated lighting it can be entirely possible to switch lights to a night mode, where unused offices can go without light, but those which are in use can continue to have light until the user leaves. All corridors can then go onto an approach detection system, only turning lights on when someone is walking through. Any out of bounds areas can then have lights switched off for the duration, as the area is off limits and unlikely to be used.

The savings for this type of system are considerable and are well worth doing both from a cost and a safety perspective. Outside of the building, security lights can work automatically to save light when there is nobody about, but will flood the area with light when employees come and go, or potentially when intruders are in the area.
All of these features ensure that an automated lighting system can not only save you energy and money, but can also provide safety and security benefits too.

Securing the place you live in is the first and foremost thing that comes to mind when you think about safety. There are many ways of doing so. Security lighting is one such thing that can keep your home and family safe, even if you don't want to invest in high profile security alarm systems.
